This Seca electronic floor scale measures body weight and also estimates body fat and body water, using 24 chromed electrodes on the platform. It recognises each user automatically, stores four users in memory so a household can share it, and includes a BMI function.
Step on barefoot so your soles touch the electrodes. They are laid out to keep contact with the skin through the whole measurement, which is what the body fat and body water readings depend on. The scale picks up who you are from your stored profile and shows the results quickly. It takes up to 150kg and reads in 100g steps, and it runs on four AAA batteries.
This is a consumer scale for home use. Seca gives no warranty for commercial use.
