Jump Testing Equipment

Two tests of leg power, used by schools, sports clubs and coaches testing athletes. For the vertical jump, the athlete stands side on and marks their standing reach, then jumps and touches as high as they can. The score is the difference between the two. The vertical jump test measure ($1,595) is built for this test.

For the standing broad jump, the athlete stands behind the line with both feet, swings the arms and jumps forward as far as they can, landing on both feet. Measure from the line to the back of the nearest heel. The standing long broad jump test mat ($549) is 4 metres long, so it covers most jumps without a tape.

Other assessment tools are in fitness testing equipment.
