Gym Mats and Interlocking Mats

Gym mats here fall into two groups. Flooring goes down and stays down: our interlocking MMA mats and the EVA tiles are 1m x 1m tiles that lock together, and the rubber gym mats are 15mm mats that sit under racks and machines. Exercise mats are the ones you roll out, fold or hang up after a session, and you’ll find them under fitness mats.

For thickness, 15mm to 20mm is enough for bodyweight work and stretching. Under free weights, and for martial arts where people land and fall, go for 25mm to 40mm.

Each interlocking tile covers one square metre. Measure the floor length and width in metres, multiply them, and round up to get the number of tiles you need for a single garage or spare room.
