Interlocking Foam Mats and MMA Mats

Most of these foam mats are 1m x 1m interlocking tiles, so one tile covers one square metre. Multiply the floor length by the width in metres and that is your tile count: a floor three metres by four takes 12 tiles.

Pick the thickness by use. The 20mm EVA tiles in blue or green suit kids’ play areas and floor exercise. The 25mm tiles, such as the black and grey MMA mats, are a general choice for grappling and training rooms. For martial arts with throws and falls, go to 40mm, like the blue and red martial arts mats.
