Running Hydration Vests

A running vest carries water and a few small things high on your back so they bounce less than a pack. The Nathan Quickstart 3.0 4L comes with two soft flasks on the front straps, which are quick to drink from and refill on road runs and shorter trail runs. The 6L version has a 1.5L bladder and more room for longer days on the trail. Spare 1.5L bladders are sold separately. The lightweight hydration running vest takes bottles, with spare 175ml and 280ml pairs.

If you want to run without a vest, a running hydration belt or the Nathan Triangle waist pack sits at your waist instead. For early mornings and dark evenings, there are reflective running vests, the Nathan Streak in two sizes and a reflective band.
