The McDavid 414 knee strap is a single black band with a semi-tubular buttress, worn around the leg just below the kneecap. One size fits most, and it fits either the left or right knee. It is part of our McDavid Braces and Supports range.
An adjustable hook and loop closure lets you set how firmly it sits, and the non-slip buttress helps it stay in place once you start moving. Because it is a narrow strap rather than a full sleeve, it sits comfortably under shorts or tights and leaves the rest of the knee free to bend.
People wear it for walking, running and hiking, and for sports with a lot of jumping and cutting, such as basketball, volleyball, football and soccer. It also suits cycling. Put it on before your session, adjust it snug but comfortable, and loosen it between efforts if you like.
