This 3kg weighted vest from Pure Strength adds a modest load to walks, jogs and bodyweight sessions. It makes a sensible first vest if you have never trained with one. You can compare it with heavier options in our Weighted Vests range.
People wear it on brisk walks, up hills and stairs, and through circuits of squats, lunges, step-ups and push-ups. A common starting point is a vest of around 5 to 10% of your body weight, building up slowly and staying under 20%. Our weighted vest buying guide goes through choosing a load in more detail.
The buckle strap adjusts so the vest sits snugly, and the shoulder straps are thickened and widened for comfort. Reflective strips help on early morning or evening walks.
