Black means X-Heavy, the strongest of the four fabric power bands. Choose it when you need the most help on pull ups, or for traction stretches that need a firm pull. The woven fabric over rubber is kind to skin and hair, and it measures 32mm wide with a 208cm loop. For banded barbell work, go for a rubber power band. See Power Bands and Pull Up Bands.
Our Fabric Power Bands are made of woven fabric & rubber, resulting in a band that is more gentle on the skin/hair, will not roll up and is virtually unbreakable. They’re washable, too.
The Fabric Power Bands are ideally used for stretching, assisted pull ups, tractioning and other settings where they will be in direct contact with the skin. An added advantage is that they are easier to unknot when choking off the band compared to traditional Rubber versions.

Please Note: for use with free weight exercises to provide accommodating resistance, we recommend the original Rubber 41” Power Bands- not the fabric bands.
