This palm-sized hand exerciser is a soft, stretchy ring shaped a bit like the planet Saturn. Squeeze it to work your grip, or put your fingers through it and spread them against the resistance to work the muscles that open the hand. It is made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer), a highly elastic, soft and durable material.
It is small and quiet enough to use almost any time your hands are free: on your commute, while you talk on the phone, or in front of the TV. People use it for hand rehab, for general grip and finger strength, and to build control for activities that use the hands a lot, such as sport, gaming or playing an instrument. Work both hands, and alternate squeezing and spreading so the hand works in both directions.

My hand is weakened by a very old injury and starting to fail.
This is a marvelous tool, couldn’t be happier. It’s providing resistance as difficult or easy as you wish to make it and after only a short time of use, I think it will save the function in my hand for many more years.

The one I got isn’t exactly as pictured, but has the same features and I LOVE it! It feels great and I like having the resistance both for gripping and stretching. I have VERY small hands and it is definitely designed for hands bigger than mine, but it still works great for me. The solid material should also last longer than most stress balls. It does tend to attract dust and pet fur, but cleans very easily with water and dish detergent.
