At 12cm across, this LivePro massage ball is much bigger than a lacrosse ball, so the pressure spreads over a wider area while still getting into large muscles. It is made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR) with a grooved, grippy tread that stops it skidding on the floor or a wall. The feel is firm.
Place it under your glutes, hamstrings, upper back or chest and lean into it, rolling slowly or pausing on tight spots. The tread grips skin and clothing a little as it rolls, which feels different from a smooth ball. Use it after training, on a break at work, or on the lounge floor in the evening. It also stands in for a foam roller when you are travelling, since it takes up far less room in a bag.
