McDavid’s 489 elbow strap is a narrow band with two pads that sits around the forearm just below the elbow. It is made from latex-free 1.5mm neoprene, closes with adjustable hook and loop, and fits either arm. See the full McDavid Braces and Supports range.
The two pads press on the forearm muscles when you tighten the strap, and the neoprene adds compression and warmth. Flat seams keep it comfortable under a sleeve. People wear it for racquet sports, golf, gym work and jobs with a lot of gripping and lifting.
To size it, bend your arm slightly and measure around the elbow directly over the joint.
