The Revolution Hip Thruster is a standalone hip thrust machine for glute training in gyms and home gyms. You can load it with resistance bands, free weights or both, and the frame has no moving parts. The back pad is angled and leans forward, with a big curve to support your upper back through the movement. It also works for banded deadlifts and split squats.
Loading options
- Resistance bands, for high reps, warm-ups and lighter sessions
- Free weights, for heavier sets
- Bands and free weights together, for band tension on top of a fixed load
The movement in three steps
- Sit with your upper back against the pad and your feet flat, about hip width apart.
- Drive through your heels and lift your hips until your body is level from shoulders to knees.
- Squeeze your glutes at the top, then lower under control.
Who it suits
PTs and gyms that programme a lot of glute work, and home gyms where setting up a barbell hip thrust on a bench takes too long. Because it’s a fixed frame, you step in, set your load and start, which makes it quick to swap between clients. The hip thrust machine takes up floor space, so measure your area before you order.
